Brisbane North PHN is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with a membership base of organisations whose objects align to those of the company.

  • Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes

A growing staff of more than ninety professionals, based at offices in Lutwyche and North Lakes, work with health and social service providers in our region to create a community where good health is available to all.

The 2016-17 year was one of reflection and renewal at the Brisbane North PHN; commissioning $23.5 million over two years to local agencies to deliver mental health, suicide alcohol and other drug treatment services, continuing to advocate the role of PHNs in the Aged Care sector, helping to improve the local health outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait population, continuing to support programs that improve the integration of health services, supporting vulnerable population groups, and supporting general practice to improve patient care. The 2017-18 year has continued to build on these activities. Our most current annual report can be viewed here.
