Have your say on naming Queensland's children's hospital

Queenslanders are invited to have their say on renaming Queensland’s specialist children’s public hospital to 'the Queensland Children’s Hospital'.

Queensland has a major specialist children’s public hospital. It is operated by Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service. The hospital provides care to the state’s sickest and most critically injured children who need highly specialised care. The hospital opened in November 2014 with the name 'Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital'.

More than 800 staff at the hospital have signed a petition asking the government to re-name it 'the Queensland Children’s Hospital' to ensure Queensland parents know it is Queensland’s major specialist public children’s hospital.

Have your say on renaming renaming Queensland’s specialist children’s public hospital to 'the Queensland Children’s Hospital'. Consultation closes 31 August 2018.
