GPs and pharmacists invited to complete My Health Record awareness survey

The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking GPs and pharmacists to complete a baseline survey to understand current health provider awareness of the My Health Record System.

The results of this survey will support the national expansion of My Health Record in 2018. Under the expansion, every Australian will be provided with a secure electronic health record unless they choose not to have one.

The survey is designed for GPs and pharmacists, providing a national snapshot of the following understandings:

• benefits of consumer My Health Records
• use of the My Health Record System
• what Opt Out means for consumers by health care professionals.

Brisbane North PHN is working with the Australian Digital Health Agency to embed My Health Record use across healthcare providers.
